Telemetry data is uploaded, by default, by the Service Management Connector to gain insight in the performance and behavior of the product. The telemetry data contains:
- System generic performance counts like the memory and processor usage of the Service Management Connector process
- Exceptions occurring within the application
- Events about the application behavior
- No personal or sensitive data
Telemetry data upload can be disabled by following the steps below:
- Open registery editor
- Open register key ‘HKLM\SOFTWARE\The Backbone\Service Management Connector’
- Change the registery value ‘TelemetryEnabled’ to 0
- Restart the Service Management Connector service
